Cinderella

Recently, I took my daughter to a local dinner theatre to see Cinderella. The audience was encouraged to dress in Costume. So, I went to a local thrift store and found a bridesmaid dress and altered it to fit her. A lot of the girls were wearing dresses from the Disney store but the 40.00 was not in my budget. So the 10.00 dress from the thrift store did the trick for us. I also bought her some white gloves. I personally think she was the most beautiful Cinderella there. LOL!!!!

Hi Jacque
She looks gorgeous and far better handmade than those you buy. they are extortionate.

I have to agree with the other ladies, your beautiful cinderella is totally a picture of elegance and so grown up looking in her 'real' cinderella dress. The gloves are the perfect touch, well done to you!

She's absolutely gorgeous Jacque, and the fact that you altered the dress yourself makes it extra special. And I do believe you when you say she was the prettiest Cinderella there!
