Digital Scrapbooking

No folks it wasn't me that made this beautiful digital layout, it was the Hubby (the computer tech ;o)! He actually made it for my Dad. It has now been a year since my Step Mom passed. Yellow Roses were her favorite! Thanks honey - you did an awesome job!

Happy Mail & Challenge Layout

I got this awesome free sample UHU permanent glue roller (www.gluewithuhu.com) in the mail on Friday. Ladies this glue roller ROCKS!!!! I used it to make the layout in this post. It is so light, and very easy to use. The best part is that it didn't get all jammed and stuck on itself. It even adhered my lace and embellishments. Very simple to use - it comes out very clean and it didn't drag across my layout. Also I tested it by getting a bit on my picture to see if I could get it to rub off. IT DID!!! Yeah! It is like a hundred little dots and they just rubbed right off my picture with my finger! LUVIN IT!!! And it did not leave a mucky residue on my photo. You know how picky I am with my adhesives. This is a great product - I hope you will go over and check it out!!!
Next on to my layout for week #42 over at 52 Sketches...52 Weeks (in which I used the awesome glue roller from above and some lovely papers they included in my happy mail)

Added some more altered notebooks and a Paper Bag Kit to my shop today....

Mickey Album Cover

I had this old spiral scrapbook album that I wanted to use for Our Disney Album. It had some ole' funky cover that was ugly - but when I saw it on the clearance rack for like CHEAP!!! I got it! So finally after about four years of it sitting on my shelf collecting dust, I decided to alter it.

I bought some Micky Fleece fabric and covered it and added some ribbon & lace and WHA-LA! Our Mickey Album.

Paper Bag Album Kit

Front of the Album
Paper Bag Album, 12 pages with front and back cover.
Embellishments, ribbons, buttons, mini binder clips....
Travel Themed Chipboard Stickers
Card stock for matting or for pullouts for the three pockets that are in the album

This is a kit, I just added to my shop. It includes all the fixin's for a Paper Bag Album. This one is designed for a Travel theme. I already altered the Album with paper, so all it needs is to be is embellished and pictures added. Can't wait to see what someone does with it.

Fall Festival & Book Fair

Went to my dd's fall festival and book fair on Friday evening. It was raining - so it was all inside. We had a great time tho. Just spending family time together.

The book fair was going on too, and my dd loves to read. So we got this book.

She love's the Junie B. Jones series of books. She especially liked this one because it is written in journal form. She spent the biggest part of the day yesterday curled up on the couch reading it (finishing it!)

She comes to me when she is done and asks if we can make her a Katelyn Survival Guide to School. Of course, you know me I don't need a reason to create - but when given the chance and asked by my dd - YOU BETCHA I WAS ON IT!!!! Here is what we came up with....
