Paper Blooms Challenge

This week over at Paper Blooms Blog it is our final week on our three month stretch as designers for the very talented Leah. She created this beautiful blog, and let us use her beautiful blooms from her awesome store over at Paper Blooms ETSY Store.

This week our challenge was to just do whatever we wanted. I decided to make a layout as a tribute and memory of the wonderful rockin' time I had being a part of this very talented and awesome team! What a group of wonderful ladies! THANKS!!!!!!!!

Give me one week...........

Give me one week and I will be scrapbooking like there is no tomorrow. Why you may ask??? Well as of today the house sitter and furr baby sitter has the keys to our house and as of tomorrow we will be going on a plane to DISNEY!!!! Woo-hoo!!!!! So needless to say stay tuned because I will be vamped on when I return.

I have been so busy getting stuff ready for the trip and getting work prepared for my absence that I have neglected my blogging friends - I sorry! But, never fear.........just give me a week and I will be back in the saddle again! Until them my blog buddies have an awesome week and I will catch up with ALL of you on my return!!!!

Men of Influence - Paper Blooms Challenge

This weeks challenge at Paper Blooms Blog is to do a project with the theme of Men of Influence that have touched our lives. I chose to do a layout of my Uncle that raised me and that passed a couple of months ago. He loved flowers and had a green thumb and grew beautiful gardens. So using blooms from Paper Blooms ETSY Store was a given on this layout. He also loved music, so I used some ribbon that has musical notes on it.

Cinderella

Recently, I took my daughter to a local dinner theatre to see Cinderella. The audience was encouraged to dress in Costume. So, I went to a local thrift store and found a bridesmaid dress and altered it to fit her. A lot of the girls were wearing dresses from the Disney store but the 40.00 was not in my budget. So the 10.00 dress from the thrift store did the trick for us. I also bought her some white gloves. I personally think she was the most beautiful Cinderella there. LOL!!!!

Paper Blooms Challenge Blog

It is so hard to believe that another week has gone by, I am excited though - because it means another awesome challenge given to us by our outstanding, creative Leah! She just makes the most fantastic blooms and then gives us the opportunity to buy them at her Paper Blooms ETSY Store. THANKS! Leah! This week we were challenged to use at least three blooms on our project! EASY PEEZY!!! I decided to do a card, seems I tend to get in a rut to just do layouts - so I decided to make another Thank-You card for a friend that gave my husband and I a totally awesome anniversary gift! Thanks Diane!

Paper Blooms has a Sketch Challenge.....

This week at Paper Blooms Blog we have a sketch challenge. I decided to make a card for a co-worker. She brought me this huge bag of lace last week. I mean some stunning stuff. Teacher Presents

Well tomorrow is the last day of school. My dd will be now be a big third grader. Sheesh! Where does the time go? She and I always try to make an end of the year gift for her teachers. This year we altered three 10 by 12 picture frames and made them into dry erase boards. We covered the outer frame with lots of buttons and puzzle pieces. I love the project because we can do it together, but it really depletes my button stash! If anyone has a bunch they are not using, let me know I am in the need of buying some buttons - actually LOTS of buttons. ;o)
