sent me some really cool vintage elements to play with as a Thank You for playing along over at These Are a Few of My Favorite Things. Go over to her blog - she has an awesome vintage etsy shop! Both Katelyn and myself are five years old in these photos.

The challenge over at These Are a Few of My Favorite Things -this time is to scrap about your favorite days of the week, well after working over 25 years in retail management and never getting to have a saturday and sunday off was a real bummer. So a few years ago when I landed a M-F job and got to have weekends to spend with my family - it seems there is just so much catching up to do, so I altered this little journal so I can jot down my plans for the family for our weekends together.

Favorite Bands & more....

The challenge over at These Are a Few of My Favorite Things -this time is to scrap about your favorite band. Well the only bands we have been talking up an obsessing about lately are silly bands. My dd is ADDICTED - so I did a twist on the band theme and I give this layout as a tribute to my daughters current love/addiction!



Ok - is it just me, or are some of these impossible to tell what they are??? I can make out the guitar and the hand - but the others?????? I think I put them on upside down and sideways - oh well Katelyn will set me straight when she gets home from her grandparents and sees this! LOL!

Cinderella

Just got back from Cinderella that was playing at our local dinner theatre - we had awesome seats - table number one right on the stage floor
It was suppose to be just me and Katelyn - but she brought along a couple friends
Did I mention they have a buffet???

Sweet Fish

This was taken a few years ago on a vacation in TN - we went to the Ripley's aquarium. It was really an awesome experience.

Katelyn also wanted me to thank both Stef and Deb for the awesome cards she received yesterday and today and the goodies inside - she loved them!!!! You all are the BEST!

Weekend of Family

My nephew and his wife and two kids came in town this weekend. We got to hang out all day Saturday. Katelyn and my nephews daughter are only 6 months apart. She is 6 months older then KT. By the way KT is looking a lot better don't you think? It is from all those get well wishes from you all! Thanks again!

Hi everybody! I just wanted to pop on my Moms blog and thank everyone for their emails and cards to make me feel better - guess what it worked! I am starting to feel better it took the dentist over two hours to fix my tooth but it looks much better.
