Tissue Paper

Earlier when I was blog hopping on my lunch break at work, I came across a challenge to use Tissue Paper on your layout. Well I can't find the challenge page, now that I have done it. But, I did do a layout using tissue paper. I used a new cool scallop punch that my MIL gave me - and made a flower out if tissue paper. I like the how it turned out. Whoo-hoo!

I won Jaylynn's awesome RAK, a couple weeks ago over at Jaylynn Scraps. Have you checked her blog out??? Sheesh this gal has TALENT!! Noticed that was a Capital T-A-L-E-N-T!!!!!

I received a totally rockin' gift card from Scrapgal. So, yep folks - I let my fingers walk I mean RUN over to Scrapgal and got my smack down on! WHOO-HOO!!!!! Here are some of my goodies I purchased.......

	American Crafts Page Protector - 12x12" Photo 4x6
	Little Yellow Bicycle Paper - Autumn Bliss - Decorative Edge Pap
	Glue Arts Adhesive - Glue Glider Pro Unit
	Glue Arts Adhesive - Glue Glider Refills - PermaTac

I thought these 4x6 page protectors were pretty cool - so that I could add those in my albums in between one of my scrapped pages here and there. I figured I could feel them with my dd - you know the ones where she is doing the same thing but I took a dozen pics of it! LOL!!!

The next, I just thought was cool because of the scallop! Too-cool!

Now, on to what I have been debating about for awhile, A "Glue Glider" - I ususally just like my little hand held adhesive. But, I have heard good things about this one - so I GOT IT!

What do you all think?? What is your favorite form of adhesive, snot dots, glue etc.????? I would like to know what you all use. I am always out for tips and ideas. :o)

Bizzy Becs - Creatalicious Challenges

the first challenge is to make something for your dad - well since my Uncle passed in April (he raised me from the time I was 5) I decided to post this , your project needs to incorporate brown and metal. This is still a very special layout for me - so I am using it as the challenge piece. I miss him everyday! I am still thankful to have my birth Dad too - so as soon as my computer is back up and running I will post something special for him too! But until then my layout is a tribute to my Uncle.

I have used a light brown dp and then metal buttons and of course some of Leah's beautiful blooms which you can find at her shop over at Paper Blooms ETSY Store.

My Favorite Flower

The current challenge over at These Are a Few of My Favorite Things! is to do a layout using your favorite flower! This was super easy for me. You all look at my favorite flower every time you hit my blog. My loving hubby made my header for me. He knows I love Stargazer Lilies, in fact he got me hooked on them. When we were dating he would always bring me Stargazers and it was our wedding flower and he still gives them to me on every anniversary - that makes 10 to date ;o) Anywho please go check out the challenge....These Are a Few of My Favorite Things!

Summer Camp

Yesterday was the last day of summer camp for my daughter. WHEW! This summer has flew by - she starts school in 13 days - Here is a very awesome scrapbook she made at camp - I am proud of her - it rocks!!!!
