This is the layout I entered in the challenge over at...Http://www.scraphappykat.blogspot.com . The challenge was to follow the sketch and use a minimum of 2 patterned papers and 2 plain card stock papers, some buttons or Brads (not both) some flowers and a glittered title. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

My hubby and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary yesterday. He surprised me and brought my favorite flowers to work. Then we enjoyed a fun dinner. Still can't compute that it has been 10 years.

Altered Dad Book by my DD

Ok, well I guess I have totally rubbed off on my 8 year old daughter! LOL! As my husband rolls his eyes - tee-hee! My DD and I are in the dollar tree and she finds this little book that is dedicated to Dads - she comes over to me and says, "Wouldn't this book be great to alter for Daddy." Ok - as my jaw drops - because I get so tickled because for one she uses the word alter and 2 because her girlfriend that is with us is like lookin' at both of us like - OH SHEESH - can't you all go into any store without coming out with scrapbook stuff! Just funny. So, here is some photos of the little book my daughtered altered for her Daddy. (YES! She ROCKS and she is only 8)

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

Seems the big rage with the youth right now is "High School Musical", our local dinner theater is even getting ready to put on the production. So, I thought I would make one of my Paper Bag Albums to list on ebay tomorrow that is High School Musical themed.

Peter Rabbit

Before my Step Mom died in October she had bought a series of plays at our local dinner theater for her and her granddaughters to enjoy together. My DD and her only got to go to one at the first of October. So, this time around I accompanied my DD to the play. It was a production of Peter Rabbit. My DD enjoyed it very much, but it made her miss her Granny very much. But, it made me realize what a remarkable women my Step Mom was - nearly 6 months later we are still receiving gifts from her.

ICE & SNOW AGAIN????

Can you believe it is calling for ice and snow again tonight and tomorrow. SHEESH! It was 79 degrees yesterday! UGH!!!! Just thinking about getting more started me thinking about the yuck we got in January so I decided to do a scrapbook page, just to lift my spirits so I could reflect on how much fun my DD had in that "yuck."

Paper Blooms Challenge

Hey Ladies our challenges have started today over at Paper Blooms Blog and the challenge is to use the sketch provided with the color challenge of, green, lavender, and cream or white and make a scrapbook page or a card. I made a 12 X 12 Layout, I tried to make it clean and simple so I could really show off Leah's beautiful blooms and pearls and my dd of course! LOL!
